A WTA qualifying match at the Chennai Open between Viktoria Morvayova (Slovakia) and Weronika Falkowska (Poland) is scheduled for 1 November 2026 at 07:30 UTC. The winner advances toward the main draw.
Viktoria Morvayova: Slovak qualifier
Morvayova represents Slovakia and, according to public reports, competes mainly on the ITF circuit and in WTA qualifying. At the Chennai Open she starts in the qualifying draw, where serve consistency and hard-court movement will be tested immediately.
Weronika Falkowska and the hard-court qualifying context
Falkowska is a Polish player also entered in qualifying. Public sources do not provide verified current-form metrics, so the match serves as a check of both players’ adaptation to hard courts and longer rallies. The Chennai Open is played on outdoor hard courts; qualifying typically demands quick adjustment to bounce and climate.
