UFC Fight Night pairs Aljamain Sterling (26-5-0, US) with Kevin Vallejos (18-1-0, Argentina) in a featherweight main-card bout. The listed start is 21 November 2026, 16:00 UTC.
Sterling: wrestling and championship experience
Sterling is a wrestler-grappler and former UFC bantamweight champion. Public reports point to takedowns, cage control and grappling as his core strengths; moving to featherweight raises questions about size and striking defense against larger opponents.
Vallejos: record and step-up test
Vallejos arrives with an 18-1-0 record. Public reports describe him as an Argentine prospect, though open-source detail on his style is limited. The bout tests whether he can manage distance and defend takedowns against a former champion.
What the matchup tests
The matchup hinges on Sterling’s ability to impose wrestling and Vallejos’s cage defense. No outcome is predetermined; preparation, weight and tactics will matter.
